Good Morning, graduates! It is an honor to be given a chance to be invited here this day… *stumbles down*
Did you see what just happened there? I fell down for I was tripped. But didn’t I have a choice? I had a choice between staying down or getting back up. In my case, obviously, I chose to stand up and to move forward. What matters in life is the decisions you choose to make. Those decisions are meant to be made by you. The only one who can make yourself successful is you, and you alone.
Fail, fail, fail. Ask yourselves, why do you fail? Is it because you can’t do it? Or is it because you just think that you can’t do it. You lack trust in yourself on being able to do what you want to achieve in your life. It’s a choice. It’s in you whether to stay down or get back up. Actually, you can make that “fail, fail, fail” to “success, success, success”. Who would want a simple mistake stop you from being who you want to be?
Now let me tell you the most crucial thing that you might face in this process. FEAR. What is fear? Actually, there are two definitions of fear: forget everything and run or face everything and rise. Fear isn’t always a bad thing. Yes, it can serve as a hindrance but at the same time, a motivation. This causes us to test our abilities to find out our limitations. Fear would be nothing, as in completely nothing, if you really have the determination to be successful. There could be a lot of things which can pull and bring you down but this doesn’t mean that you should quit climbing up. If there’s anyone who should quit, it should be those who are demotivating you, and not you. Because no matter what they do to bring you down, nothing could ever stop you from achieving your goal.
