Job Search Plan

It is my career objective to gain and maintain employment at a reputable organization where I can exploit the theoretical and practical knowledge that I have acquired at DeVry University, while learning new skills that would be beneficial to the organization as well as for personal advancements.

The company that I will be using for my job search plan is Hewitt Associates. This organization deals with Human Resources outsourcing and consultation for other companies that either do not have an HR department or just need some advice from experts in the field. This companyÐ'ÐŽÐ'¦s headquarters is located in Lincolnshire, IL. Hewitt Associates was founded in 1940 and is currently the worldÐ'ÐŽÐ'¦s larges Human Resources outsourcing and consulting firm, this includes eight-six offices world wide twenty-five of which are in the United States. Some of the services that Hewitt provides include areas such as benefits, HR strategy and technology, healthcare, organizational change, retirement and financial management, and talent and reward strategies. HewittÐ'ÐŽÐ'¦s clients consist of more than half the Fortune 500 companies and more than a third of Fortune's Global 500. This company employÐ'ÐŽÐ'¦s some 15,000 people worldwide and has revenue of $1.7 billion. The company mission for Hewitt is to make the world a better place to work. The chairman and CEO of the billion dollar company is Russell P. Fradin, the CFO is John J. Park and the SVP Corporate Development and Strategy is Matthew C. Levin. One of the positions that I would be interested in at Hewitt is Professional Recruiter in their HR outsourcing department. The responsibilities of this position include the following:

Ð'„Ð'« Must be able to work with a large case-load and produce results

Ð'„Ð'« Must be a Self-starter, able to work on his/her own with minimal direction

Ð'„Ð'« Must be Computer Literate (MS Office Suite, email)
