Your research paper should focus on the topics covered in the course - literature, art, music, dance, theater, etc. Throughout your paper you should try to explain to the reader as much as you can about how this event/topic is influential today (or NOT influential today). You should outline 3-5 main points making at least one of the points memorable- a finding or claim that causes the reader to pause and reflect. The paper should include about five outside written sources; it may also include primary resources, such as interviews, if appropriate. How much research you need and what type will depend on the specific research report you are doing. It should be enough of each kind to convince the reader of the report's credibility. Special Note: Your report should be investigative, interesting, insightful, important, and intelligent. It should also be well-researched and well-written.
