Circus

        In the music video Circus, Britney talks about how there are two types of people in this world, the ones who entertain and the ones who observe. She is simply stating that she is the entertainer and everyone else is the observer, obviously. Her life is portrayed many ways through out this video. When she first started performing she had a very innocent look but as she got older and more mature she realized that being more provocative ok in the entertainment business. In the video she says that she is a “put-on-a-show kinda girl.” Which is true because all her life she has been putting on shows for people around the world. I also think her shaving her head ties in with that saying because by shaving her head she put on a show that caused everyone to have eyes on her. She refers to herself as the ringleader and that she calls all the shots. Considering she pretty much does whatever she wants, just how each group proved in during the presentations. Spears also says she that when she puts on a show she is like a “firecracker” and she makes it “hot”. She very much knows how she preforms with her provocative outfits and body language. That is what she reached for ever since she was 19. In the song she says “all eyes on me in the center of the ring just like a circus” Britney is used to having all eyes on her at all times. That lifestyle comes with being famous. Certainly she has proved all eyes are on her all the time because she has made such a unbelievably recovery from 2007 when she had her mental break down. In the song she wants to see what everyone else can do because she “runs a tight ship” She is looking for a challenge to see what others have to show.
