Hey there.
I am Rodrigo Jonson Acuzar Jr. from the Philippines. I am currently studying at the University of the Philippines here in Manila.
I am a fine arts student majoring in visual communications and currently doing my thesis.
This is the theme of my study I am working on now:
What are the types of anachrome 3D images and scenes that are particularly useful in enhancing visual-spatial creativity of children under 10 - 12 years old?
I would like to know more about visual-spatial development under this age or this particular phase of their visuality.
I really need your help to know more about the kinds of 3D anachrome images and scenes that I could put in a children's picture book that could efficiently
help children under this age to be a "better looker".
My main objective of my study is trying to enhance the way a
child uses 3D to gain or enhance information about the visual world,
by training-type exposure to anachromes that I will develop. That is,
can a child become a "better and more creative looker?"
A novel contribution I would make is to see if I can make
variations in the images that are more effective than others in
allowing a child to find novel components of test-images you then
show them. Here is a hypothetical example. Do children initially
identify objects more readily if they are in the foreground, mid-
ground or far-away background of a 3D anachrome? Let's say it turns
out that things right in front are readily seen, and things further
back are somewhat ignored. If so, I would then make a short
anachrome book that places especially interesting objects and
features elsewhere than in the foreground, so that the child's
attention to them is easily captured. Then after training, I would
see if the child was better able to identify objects not in the
foreground, using another series of test images.
Obviously, instead of "foreground, mid-ground, background" I could
substitute any type of visual feature
