NATL Sugar Company

The first key point of this article is convincing farmers to covert to growing cane rather than growing rubber and pineapple. Coffee is already doing well in the market and earning a large share of market. Revenue in a typical year for other cash crops are slightly higher or equal to the revenue that of a cane. NATL ( Nghe An Tate and Lyle) Company should try to give extra benefits and high income and bonuses so that the farmer should convert to growing cane. If they are able to do that then they won't have any problems getting the desired loan from IFC (International Finance Corporation). They should also tell farmers that the cane is more profitable because in 4 year's life span, it generated $10,000 where as other cash crops took double the time.

The second point that interested me is the way the use the method of operation. Where ever they went, they always used the facilities of existing companies. By doing that they saved money which would other wise have used for construction. Now they can work with local management people who understand the local market much better and aid them in high profits. They can use the money for some other purposes. The situation of the company was mostly near the railways or highways which made it easier for them to transport cane to different areas.

The loan also depended on the construction of roads and bridges in the area where the factory is being constructed. They have some convince that by making roads and bridges, their daily life routine work could be easily done with out much trouble. Building roads and bridges could make it easier for company to transfer finished products and other by products to the different parts of the country. If the government is satisfied and agree to construct the road or bridges, they could get the loan from IFC.
