Personal Goals As A University Student

Personal goals are a very important part of my life personally, professionally and as a student at the University of Phoenix. Goals are the milestones to an outcome that may determine success or failure in all areas of my life. Every year I will act as a freshman even though I am a sophomore at this University. Keeping the freshmen mentality inspires those goals fresh in my head with the passion of learning I desire.
The most important goal I need to obtain as a student at the university is to be able to sustain and maintain time management effectively. I use my Palm Life Drive as my tool so I am able to complete tasks on time as well as import those required reading assignments due for that next week. My Palm Life Drive has been advised by many different websites in accordance to time management. Similar to the book, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" Categories range from "Q1-Important and Urgent to Not Important and Not Urgent. Implementing these categories enables me to spend time on the most important issues at that time preventing future negative consequences.
I will also need to be more familiar with my school in all aspects in order to know what is expected and required of me as a student at the university. Reading and asking any questions about the Guidelines, restrictions, rules and regulations is the ultimate guide in order to gradate. It is also important to know the teacher's expectation of the class and you as an individual. I want to be able to get an A in this class so I will need to get the courage to ask questions as much as possible. Our group assignments are a big impact on my grade as a whole in that class. It is also important to know your role in the group and as a individual.
Maintaining a study and group time schedule will be the foundation to this class and all classes until I graduate from the university. Personally, I spend at least 1 hour a day on school to keep myself in touch with my current personal and group assignments. I need to have physical exercise and it is equally important to be exercising your brain every single day.
In some ways, I consider my work environment a lot similar to my school environment. As a team we all work toward a common goal in order for our learning experience to be implemented in other areas of our lives.
