What is the first breed you think of when you hear about a dog attack? mostly likely it would be a pit bull.I believe that people should be allowed to keep pit bull. They are really friendly dogs. people see them as the dog to protect. Pit bulls were bred to be big, powerful dogs.One detail is from the article "Ohio Overturn Pit Bull Bill". On the day of February 23, 2012 the Ohio Sate Legislature voted on a bill a to eliminate 25 year old law automatically declaring pit bulls pit bulls as vicious. Being that this law was passed,the owners had to register their dogs as dangerous.

Being that all of this has taken place in Ohio, pit bulls are no longer allowed in the state of Ohio anymore. To support this evidence a man by the name of Burnce Goodwin voted against the bill in part because, he states I am not convinced that a 'pit bull' has the distinction or characteristics that when they grab on, they won't let go. Another detail would be from the article " Miami-Dade Community votes to keep pit Bulls Out." In this article we find out in 1989 Florida has a specific county specifying the dog breeds you can have.This law was put into place after an eight-year-old child was viciously attacked by her neighbors pit bull. As the years have gone on many people are reconsidering the band.

However,not enough support was made to overturn the law. To support this evidence ,the mother of the eight-year-old child who was attacked work to pass the law . It would prevent anyone else from being injured by pit bulls. My final details are from the article, "The Media and the pit bull". Inside of this article a lady walks her two-year-old pitbull across the street she notices how people try to avoid them. The people fear her dog .

They see the pitbull as being dangerous. In conclusion to this article in the news outlets are also erroneously reporting dogs attacks. If the dog breed is unknown news media
