Company Summary: Pitfall – an online clothing brand, which specializes in the sales of men’s and kids t shirts along with polo t shirt, through online platform. It operates through a website and a business page in Facebook by taking orders from the customers and then delivering them to their doorstep. Cash on delivery payment method is followed as well as online payment.
Start-Up Summary: Pitfalls start-up expenses and funding are shown in the following tables. The majority of these funds will be used to start the business, pay deposits, and provide capital for three months of operating expenses, initial inventory, and other one-time expenses. Pitfall also will need operating capital for the first few months of operation.
Product Description: The products sold at Pitfall will be men’s t-shirt men’s polo kids t-shirt and kids polo. The products will be made of 100% preshrunk cotton which of the best quality. Both men’s and kids t-shirts and polo will be the first quality products of Polo, Giordano, Crocodile and etc. and replica of many other international fashion brands which will be sold upon availability in the local market.
Sourcing: The main suppliers of our T-shirts will be ready-made garments (RMG) such as Azim & Sons PVT. Ltd.: and Urmi Garments Ltd. These garments are main manufacturer of Polo and also makes-shirts for Crocodile and Giordano for European countries.
Future products: Pitfalls future goal is to include more fashion wear like shirts, both formal and casual along with jeans and formal pants into its existing product line.
Management Team: Pitfall has a flat organizational structure. Four active partners of our business are the members of Board of Directors which is top most level of pitfall. Any kind of change in strategy or contract needs the permission of Board of Directors. Change can only occur if at least three out of four agree.
We are four members, each member lead the department where he/she is a specialist. Md. Tanvir Hossain will lead the finance and accounting Department. He is doing major in finance and working as an executive planner in the finance dept. of UIU Business club. Sadman Shourav will lead the marketing and promotion department. He is doing major in marketing and also has real life experience of doing marketing. Mahadi Hassan will lead the sales department. He is also a marketing major and running his own successful clothing business. As a result, he has specialized knowledge about sales. Finally, Tasria Alam will lead the logistics and human resources department. She is doing major in HR.
