The following three qualities determine who deserves my vote: (1) honesty, (2) communication, and (3) someone who is ambitious. The first quality that determines who deserves my vote is honesty. The president should commit to what he or she says that they are going to do. For example, if they say they are going to abolish the IRS system, then they should stick to it and make sure that it happens. They should also accept responsibility for their own actions. For instance, if they decided to go to war, they should be able to accept the responsibility for the death of innocent Americans.

The next quality that determines who deserves my vote is good communication. For instance, they should be able to make speeches that are clear and get straight to the point that people are able to understand. Also they should be able to speak to people that have questions and be able to state a clear point that allows people to make a decision based on their answer. They have to be able to communicate to other people in other countries to make compromises and to keep peace among all the other nations.

The last quality that determines who deserves my vote is someone who is ambitious. I think the president should have a strong desire for achievement in our country. For example, they should be willing to make good positive changes in our country for the best interest of everyone. They should be willing to do anything that it takes to make a positive change in the country, no matter how much effort has to be put forth. For instance, they should be willing to get healthcare for everyone.

In conclusion, three factors determine who gets my vote: (1) honesty, (2) communication, and (3) someone who is ambitious. Michael Kinsley stated in “The Pat-on-the-Back Factor”,

“People see an opportunity not just to feel proud of their country but also to feel proud of themselves, personally”
