Workplace Critique | Salesforce
For this paper, I have decided to evaluate Salesforce as my company for workplace critique. Not only was Salesforce ranked at the top of the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work for list, but I use their customer report management software on a daily basis as I execute my job as a Sales Development Representative at Facilities Management eXpress. Here is the link to the rankings to see for yourself!
In my opinion, work place effectiveness is having a team put together that is capable of going above any beyond the call of duty, both in work and in life. At Salesforce, the workplace is full of diversity with roughly 30% of the workforce being of a minority race/culture. The freedom to schedule vacations is an absolute, as the amount of paid time off the average employee receives is upwards of 28 days a year. Looking through their stats, the average annual income of their staff is closer to $160K, which I certainly wouldn’t mind pulling. All in all, the culture of Salesforce is inclusive, intuitive, and innovative; which helps them lead the world in customer report management software solutions.
What makes Salesforce an effective workplace is how they capture exactly what their prospects require from their own prospects; reporting and data. Without a tool to properly manage prospect and account data and reports, there would be endless amounts of information that would be lost and forgotten about, drastically advancing the decline of efficiency across each organization. Salesforce is unique in the way that they provide a cloud-based system that is both intuitive and mobile friendly, giving each one of their customers the power to manage their business through their fingertips. - GTS
