- My journey, throughout my career, has been a pursuit to better understand the functional aspects of global organizations. The capability of top management to have extremely precise long term future plans and implementation, ensuring profit for themselves and their stake holders, have always been a source of an extreme fascination for me. The wish to become a better professional with a better understanding of a business has always been the driving force of my career.
- During lasts five years, I have placed myself in multiple roles, with different organizations, and catering to different responsibilities to train myself for better planning and decision-making. I have always focused my learning on big-picture approaches, focusing on enhancing my knowledge of as many technologies as I can and be more resourceful before making any technical decisions. This approach has worked for me, as I was able to harness my broader perspective along with my knowledge of minor details to device efficient infrastructures for my employers, which in-turn have boiled down to an extremely successful career in technology. During this period, I grew from a freshman to a technology expert, but I have always felt the need to formally train myself with better leadership skills. Leadership qualities, along with my technical know-how, will play a crucial role in my further endeavors. In the future, I picture myself as a capable leader, with the required mettle to improve the functional output of my teams with better decision making at both personal and professional levels.
- An MBA from a different culture is also a chance to groom my understanding of global work ethics along with my leadership skill to prepare myself for my envisaged future as a top management executive in my top of the line organizations or as an owner of my own enterprise. Having worked with multiple geographically located teams, I did learn that though people can be easily appraised on their technical skills, they can never be compared on the work ethics. Every working paradigm comes with its own pros and cons and provides us with better viewpoints and more often than not, better solutions. Though I have been quite successful while working with different work cultures, managing such teams has always been a less explored territory. This is one of the many thing I want to train myself during my Masters from your institution.
