There are many uses of MS Excel for managers. Through a course given by Learningtree, managers can learn to use Excel to perform "what-if" analysis for developing budget and project plans, predict potential business developments using trend analysis ("A comparative analysis of a company's financial ratios over time.") (Web Finance, 2007), consolidate and process multidimensional worksheets; summarize and analyze large amounts of data using PivotTables ("PivotTables allow you to create multidimensional data views by dragging and dropping column headings to move data around.") (Microsoft, 2006) and Excel features, and to define the best combination of values to solve complex business problems. (Learningtree, 2006) To sum it up MS Excel can benefit managers when they need to perform analysis on the many functions within an organization.

As we all know ethics are a set of moral principles or values that govern the conduct of individuals or groups. (Cheeseman, 2006) If a company is seen to have a bad code of ethics not only will they suffer a bad name but legal repercussions will soon follow. The information gained through this survey could have severe legal repercussions if used to profile ideal candidates for employment. As learned through analyzing this data it is evident that females are overall more satisfied than males. If the company were to use this data to profile for employment, discrimination would occur. The data gathered in this survey such as age, gender, position, and tenure could all be used to discriminate against the employee. Title VII of the Civil Rights act of 1964 states "It shall be an unlawful employment practice for any employer to fail or refuse to hire or discharge any individual, or otherwise discriminate against any individual with respect to his compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment because of an individuals race, color, religion, race, sex,
