Grabber: Do you know anyone who’ve been stressed or have you ever been stressed? Stressed to the point where you get frustrated or even feel like you want to give up.
- Introduction
Stress is an emotional and physical way which our body respond to the pressure that happens in our everyday lives.
II. Body
Signs of Stress
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Trouble Sleeping
- Loss of Appetite
According to stress.org, 44% of people lose sleep every night due to stress.
Stress has been known to be a “silent killer”, stress can cause heart disease, high blood pressure, and chest pain.
According to Mastersdegree.online 3 out of 4 Doctor’s visits are for stress related ailments.
B. WAYS OF OVERCOMING … When you are experiencing stress, you can change your reaction and your body reaction to it. You can manage your stress by
1. Being positive or by having a positive attitude towards whatever it is that is stressing you out.
2. Eat healthy
- According to the American Institute of Stress, 44% of people that are stressed, overeat or eat unhealthy foods.
3.) Spend time with people you love or spend time with someone that makes you happy and forget about the things that are stressing you out.
4.) Manage your time wisely and get enough rest.

Stress is an emotional and physical way which our body respond to the pressure that happens in our everyday lives. I encourage you to not stress over things that you cannot handle and things that you cannot control.
