Abortion is a major political issue here in the United States. Even though the question on if the women who is pregnant can have an abortion has been answers, many politicians and citizens believe the topic should still be discussed. Abortion has joined war and race as one of the most debatable subject of controversy in the United States. It discusses human interaction where ethic, emotion, and law come together. Abortion poses a moral, social, and medical dilemma that faces many individuals to create an emotional and violent atmosphere. There are many view points toward abortion but the only two known distinctions are pro-life and pro-choice. Although what many people should be focusing right now on the issue of abortion should be to what extent should it be legal or illegal.
Abortion is a women's own right and choice. In the 1973 the Roe vs. Wade decision proved this by recognizing abortion as a fundamental constitution right and made it legal in all states. The law now permits abortion at the request of the women without and restrictions in the first trimester and some restrictions in the second trimester to protect the women's health. Wade argued that the women's "right to privacy" overruled the fetus's right to life ( Kolner 5)

To many this questions is simply answered by saying that we should end the child's pain. Other say why assume the future simply because the child has not yet been seen in public. exceptions to this issue seem to be impossible. Yet what do the most distinctive groups think about the issue.
The real deal between pro-choicers and pro-lifers are that there objectives are the same: to reduce the number of abortion, and to make any needed abortions safe. However, they have very different methods of achieving their goals, and they have opposite beliefs about the conditions under which abortions are justifiable. Both groups find it difficult to cooperate. A consensus exists among both groups that is when human personhood starts, the person must be protected. Although there are conflicts about when this starts. To most pro-lifers, human personhood begins at the instant of conception. Thus, they view each
