Final Case: AT&T World Net
AT&T cannot go wrong with the risk that they are taking by providing an unlimited access internet pricing plan. It will open many doors for customer as well as investors. It will allow the increase in revenues from sides, investors as well as consumers. Plus other companies will have a hard time to compete whether they mimic the plan or try and keep existing customers. It is a very good way for AT&T to gain market share quickly with a boom in demand for their service. AT&T can bounce back from having their prior monopoly type business split up to allow competitors to gain market share and thus increasing revenues to previous, or close to, numbers.
There may be some down sides to this plan like a hit in the quality of connection service to customers because of the boom in demand and also the fact that there will be no incentive for customers to log off which will tie up servers. But with the increase in volumes of sales will come the increase in technology and equipment to accommodate the numbers. AT&T should focus on just getting back those numbers and everything else will follow.
Customers will be online a ton more, this is obvious, which allows for new endeavors for entrepreneurs like advertising campaigns and exposure. This brings in tons of revenue for ISPs and site holders. It seems like a win-win situation because the internet companies gain as well as the consumer. The industry will grow and new horizons become clear and anticipated. The network seems as though it is good for business whether it is in volatile items to hardware. If this helps people to connect to people easier, this will not only benefit the company but in the process become revolutionary.
