1. Synthesize the four causes of WWII:
There were four causes of WWII, the first cause being the Treaty of Versailles. The treaty caused anger and resentment mostly from the Germans, with some others. The result in this treaty caused a lot of economically and emotionally ruined. While new democracies were being set up, but failed, with dictators seizing power.
The second cause of WWII was Worldwide Depression, depression was felt everywhere, which lead to the Germans debt to worsen. With the Germans being in desperation this allowed Hitler to take power.
Then came the third cause of WWII, which was the Rise of Totalitarianism, totalitarian is a government like, where individuals have no rights and the government suppresses all opposition. Totalitarianism took place in Germany, Italy, and USSR, those were the economically depressed countries and these types of dictators easily dominated them.
Lastly the fourth cause of WWII was Isolationism and Appeasement, with the U.S. reluctant to get involved in Europe led to appeasement which was giving in to dictator’s orders to avoid war. Those were the four causes of WWII.
