In this article we will crtically analyze the effect of talk shows on people and their votes, in this article Matthew A.  and Angela S. Jamison are arguing whether or not soft new shows that appear through the day time is more effective on people than hard news shows the article has discovered that people who watches daytime soft news shows were more like to vote who is best represented through their self –described preferences, ill be critically analyzing how  a lot of people lack political knowledge and and when they watch the soft news they know how to gather information on the person infront of them but not by their political status but by how they deal with life they vote for them using their since they have no poltical knowledge to look on the status and logic on what they have done ‘politically’, some people prefer the hard news to gather the information to help them vote but the majority are on the soft news because they have no interest in politics and all they watch is day time shows and this how smart the soft news get when they introduce the politician and let them talk with their heart and convince the people but this time using emotions not logic.

Why would an individual who is uninterested in and does not understand politics pay attention to political news? And that is the question that matthew and angela stated in their article and for this is the argument on why its perfect that they are using soft news to get under the skin of the people who aren’t interested in politics, it affects them because these people would prefer emotions over logic at anytime usually the people who likes politics or understand it they use logic and when they look at politicians they look on they did and they predict on how well or bad they’ll do iif they get granted with a kind of a new position for them, but for other people who have no interest in politics hard news shows is dull and not interesting as the writer stated in the article that these people vote for the ones that represent their self described preference which is very true, that’s why a lot of unpolitical interested people voted for Barack Obama because he knew how to make soft news get to peoples hearts and convince them that he came from a mixed cultures like half of America and he’s going to make a America the dream land of the world and people believed him because as the writer stated he represented their self interest and he  looked like half of the Americans in their mixed cultures heritage.
