I am a grandfather and this is the story of my most exciting adventure I had when I was a youngster. One fine sunny Friday morning I was at the beach with my mum and dad. I wandered around when I discovered that I was lost. I spied a stupendous cave in the distance and advanced to it. My curiosity got the better of me and I went inside the damp, dark and eerie cave. I saw some boxes around of all sorts of sizes and shapes. I opened one and saw various diamonds and gems. I picked one up and admired it. It looked like jade. I spotted a carpet at the right wing of the cave. I sat down on it and studied the jade. Without warning, the carpet quivered and trembled and rose to a height of a meter.
I was petrified and in a flash I understood that it was a magical flying carpet. A voice echoed around me asking me where I would like to go today. I gasped and looked around but nobody was there. The voice explained to me that it was the magic carpet itself speaking. It (the magic carpet) told me that if I told it any place on earth, it would take me there. That was absolutely fantastic!
I told the magic carpet that I would like to go to Paris. It agreed and told me to hang on tightly in case I fell off. In a few moments, we were hovering above the city like a helicopter, except that it made no noise. We zoomed through the clouds, scattering birds here and there, all over the sky. The air was fresh and the setting sun made everything look golden-orange.
The carpet hollered to me that we were in Paris. It was night time and the city looked so magnificent, I held my breath
