Controlling future

The most important part of my future career is being able to organize a lot of people, since Top Manager is for most of the part the director of the company. Top Manager is a highly prestigious and high paid job, which not only includes high order thinking and the ability to organize people for the benefit of the company, but also in order to get this job you have to get a Bachelors degree is Business and get 15 years of experience in the field.

The first time I actually thought about becoming Top Manager was probably when I was about 12 years old, this was the time when my dad actually started telling me about his job, top manager, he told me what it includes, all the advantages and disadvantages of the profession, he also told me what would you get from the job if you succeed in it, like high salary, promotions, an ability to study extra programs such as MBA, and all trips you might have with this job. From the opportunities he told me earlier, when I became older, I thought about it again, and I decided that form me it would probably be a good choice because I like working with economics and business. I did not really decide about the field I would work in yet, but it would probably be something like my dad is doing- open my own company and lead to success or take my dads company and also lead it to success, continue his job.

There are many influences on people who start choosing their career- media, friends, relatives, and of cource personal interests and talents. The influence of my dad had some reflection on me, but probably the biggest influence were all my interests and talents that I have, which include interests in economics and business, as I said before, and my talent or my ability to organize people so they actually complete the task needed in the given time. Though organizing a huge amount of people like the one that big companies have would be harder, and I know that, then organizing a small group of friends consisting of like 3-15 members, but I still want to try if I have the ability.

Though, as I said before, I didn’t really choose the organization or at least what it will have to do with, but the requirements, meaning the experience years and education needed, are pretty much the same. In order to get this job you need to get a Bachelors degree in Business or Economics, though Business degree is better, because you have to be really familiar with all the parts of leading the business as well as other. Probably the hardest part of getting this job is to get 15 years of experience in this particular field.

All of the important education starts in high school as everyone knows, so in order to get into a good university you have to have good grades from your school, not only grades though, behavior also counts, as well as all those extra tests, such as the SAT test. In my opinion, you have to take IB (International Baccalaureate) courses in order to actually learn something and get some knowledge of the subjects you need, IB is also a pre- university program which develops all the skills in you, which will help you to succeed not only in school but in the university as well as your life overall. The most important courses, again, in my opinion, are IB Business, IB Economics and IB Math (Calculus), because they make your way of thinking go in a right way and these three subjects are needed to be studied in order to become Top Manager. Another habit that you would have to develop if you haven’t already is to develop good study habits, meaning actually study thinking about your future, of cource find time to socialize because it is also a huge part in this job.

There are many universities offering education for the people that want to link their life with business or economics, among those universities there are classifications. The classifications for the universities or groups to which they belong to are (some of them) - Ivy League Universities (probably the best choice since they give the best education with the most famous professors who lecture; companies would better choose alumni’s of these universities because of the reputation and best education; disadvantages- the tuition is huge, hard to get in because many people are applying and many times up to 90% are not getting in) and just regular State Universities (might be included in the Ivy League, but mostly are regular public (for the most part) universities)). The requirements of the universities are basically the same, but they are higher in the universities of the Ivy League, higher because many people want to get in, so there is more requirements for you to fulfill before you get it as well as high competition up to thousands of percents on the tests they have for you to do in order to get in. Even though there is all this competition in all the universities, but except them, other requirements are almost the same.

The tuition also differs among different universities- some want you to pay them $12,000, but some (mostly Ivy League) offer education for as high as $40,000 a year. The universities I might try to apply to: Harvard, Stanford and Richmond University, all have tuition from $35,000 to almost $40,000 but this doesn’t even include the payments for the dormitory and all the living costs that it will take you in order to live there. Of cource you can get a scholarship, meaning some organization would pay for you if you have everything they want from you, such as- some test scores, good essay scores and others.

In order to get a higher degree from a university you would need to study more, for example, in Ukraine, a person would have to study for four years in order to get a Bachelors degree, what is needed to entry my career. Many companies don’t even require the Bachelors degree, but it is better if you have it, since your salary might depend on it, as well as your status in the company. Many universities I have looked up offer Bachelors degrees in business or economics, which makes me feel comfortable that there are many universities to choose from.

Extra programs are made for people who already work in this job, they
