What is your first impression of dolphin ? An adorable smart performer in the theme park or some fishes swimming in the sea with joy and freedom ?But actually those are just a deception. In Japan - Tai Ji , the fishermen slaughters and  capture around 13 thousands of dolphins per year because of the high economic value of dolphins. The income of the Tai Ji fishing industry are mainly from the sale of dolphins which brought huge gains for them. Ocean theme Parks around the world has a great demand for the female bottlenose dolphins which prompting the  fishermen in Tai Ji capturing them and selling them .The remaining dolphins will turns into meat products . Even the dolphin meat was found to contain excess mercury. The most unacceptable things is the japanese government is also involve in conceal this tragedy.

Moving to the next sub topic , the very power and actions of governmental cooperation is not effective to fix the problem. Undeniably the governmental cooperation makes a platform such as IWC for different countries to make their demands and give the penalty to the excess whaling counties .But this statement

is not the truth. Those with a vested interest in whaling industry developed counties will bribe the developing counties for their votes . So the whaling counties like Japan have the Decision-making power of the organization. So the governmental cooperation can not exert it's function, which is effectiveness to fix the problem

As a student ,the most obvious way to improve the commercial whaling situation is to not go to dolphinariums or theme parks that provides dolphin performance. which may reduce the demand of dolphinariums and the number of commercial whaling. The second thing we can do is using the power of social networks to spread the current situation of whaling industry . Make the public understand what's happening right now and raise their awareness.

May the cove soon be in peace for good, which is depends on different cause. Thank you.
