An important skill that few people have mastered, but all people could benefit from is physical fitness. If more people mastered the art of physical fitness I believe our county would be a much more delightful place to be. Although Americans enjoy eating, relaxing, and indulgence, we as a country really need to look at several key factors in our commitment to fitness.

One key factor is our eating habits; we tend to be prone to a life style where eating is not just a necessity but a hobby. For millions of Americans we enjoy several different unhealthy aspects of eating. Fast food being one of the most common ways that we neglect our physical fitness, we get to busy or over committed that we need to eat on the go so we tend to look for convince stopping at a drive through and scarfing down hamburgers and French fries that are loaded with grease and tons of preservatives witch contaminate our bodies. Not only is this physically unfit but also habit forming. It causes our bodies to crave this form of food. Many people eat at their favorite fast food restaurant making it more like an unhealthy habit than a way of receiving a nutritional meal witch is all their bodies really need. If people would take time to review a nutritional food chart, to educate themselves in the importance of a balanced diet they would find that not only is it less stressful to pack a few healthy things in bag out of their fridge, it is also much better for their bodies. Our bodies need a balanced diet in order to function properly. You would be amazed at the change in your physical and mental performance. This is key to physical fitness.

Another way we could benefit from physical fitness is increase of energy, a more positive attitude and a longer life span. If you were a fitness master you would enjoy many more activities due to more energy. Energy gives us motivation to get out and do things without being so lazy or problematic. If we are over weight we are less apt to want to go out and enjoy sports or any physical activities that stimulate our bodies and gets our blood flowing, good circulation also stimulates our brains making us work better. It also enhances our social skills making us more out going. Our self esteem also benefits from physical fitness we feel better about our outward appearance making us more approachable and more confident. This boosts you self esteem hence making most people that do not abuse this way of life by being pampas or arrogant much more delightful to be around. By exercising we increase our life span
