The following assignment is a continuation of a previous assignment (assignment 1) which was concluded with three testable hypothesis. Hypotheses 1: Work Ethics has no effect neither on employees performance nor on organization performance, H2: Work Ethics has a small effect on employees performance and organization performance, and H3: Work Ethics has a strong effect on employees performance and organization performance.
The main objective of this research is to test the above hypothesis. Besides, it has the same objective of assignment 1, which are; First, to emphasize the impact of work ethics; mainly on employees performance, and consequently on organization performance. Second, to deduce the relationship between the three main variables of the research; namely; work ethics, employee performance and organization performance. Third, to find out whether other factors like pay, law, can take the role of work ethics in reforming employees behavior
Based on a sample of 250, a survey method; self-administered questionnaire is developed. Data collected from only 145 respondents and analyzed accordingly. Several conclusions and findings are drawn at the end of the research. Recommendations are given to future researchers who want to conduct research on Work Ethics and how it is essential for the employees, as well as, organization performance.
The research revolves around three variables; two dependent variables; employee performance and organization performance, and one independent variable, work ethics. The unit of analysis in the research is the relationship between the three key variables
Key words: Ethics, Work Ethics, employees performance, Organization Performance and compensation “defined in assignment (1)
- Research Objective

- Only few organizations “4” are working during the time of conducting the survey, due to the security situation and conflict in the area. So the survey was conducted only within the range of those available organizations. However, those organizations are considered some of the largest in the area with the biggest numbers of employees. Other available institutions “2” refused to provide us with any information, claiming that what we are looking is considered confidential information for them.
- Research Questions
The following research questions were addressed in assignment (1) . They are also considered our main concern in this research:
- Does a relationship between work ethics, employees performance and Organization performance exist?
- Does Work Ethics have any effect on Employees performance?
- If yes, to what extend?
- Is there are other factors organizations use to affect employee performance? “What are they? Do those factors are more effective than workplace ethics?
- Can organization performance be strong or better without work ethics? To what degree?
- What affects employees performance more; compensation/ rules and regulation, monitoring or work ethics
- Research Design: Strategy and Methods:
The strategy followed in this research was a quantitative strategy and the method used to collect data was the primary research method. Such a strategy has the advantages of being economical, convenient, and practicable and the most important advantage is that it provides accurate, reliable and up-to-date data. An email Survey Method; namely, self-administered questionnaire was used as a means achieving the primary research strategy.
Survey method was chosen among other methods because it helps in attaining stable, valid and reliable information. As long as the questionnaire was found measuring what is supposed to measure. The questionnaire, with the scales used, were found consistent measuring tool.
