INTRODUCTION

Inani Marbles and Industries Ltd. Established in 1987 Started in a small way, today Inani operates North India’s Biggest fully Automatic Italian Processing Unit at Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, with a huge capacity and state-of-the-art technology for Granite and marble processing. They have captured a large segment of the Indian Granite, Marble, Quartzite, Sand stone and Imported Marbles.

The company's core strength lies in its constant endeavor to promote new varieties of world-class products from time to time and also its ability in having fine-tuned concept of customer satisfaction to understand its client's needs.

CSR DRIVING PRINCIPLES

CSR MISSION

The CSR Policy of Inanigroup aims to realize, merge and reinforce Good Corporate Governance including socially and environmentally responsible business practices that balance financial profit with social well-being.

CSR VISION

To be socially responsible Company and endeavor for operational excellence in our business operations with a particular focus on mining and natural stone processing activities.


SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE PAST

  • Inani group has established more than 100 water filter coolers at rural areas in Rajasthan
  • Tree plantation in the locality
  • Developed Sprawling nurseries, Gardens and Cow protection (Gou Shala) at different locations
  • Steps taken to minimize the pollution levels at the factories

RATIONALE FOR CSR POLICY

Mining takes a toll on the surrounding eco- system. Nobody understands this better than Inani group. As a concerned, socially-aware, responsible corporate citizen, we believe in giving back to nature.

In terms of section 135 and Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013 the Board of Directors of the Company have constituted a CSR Committee of the Board and developed a CSR policy.

FOCUS AREA OF CSR INTERVENTION

Schedule VII lists out the activities which may be included in social responsibility policies by the companies. The said activities include the following:

  • Eradicating extreme hunger and poverty
  • Promotion of education
  • Promoting gender equality and empowering women
  • Reducing child mortality and improving maternal health
  • Combating human immunodeficiency virus, acquired immune deficiency syndrome, malaria and other diseases
  • Ensuring environmental sustainability
  • Employment enhancing vocational skills
  • Social business projects
  • Contribution to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund or any other fund set up by the Central Government or the State Governments for socio-economic development and relief and funds for the welfare of the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, minorities and women; and
  • Such other matters as may be prescribed

However out of the aforesaid activities Inani group shall endeavor to make the expenditure in activities relating to:

  • Ensuring environmental sustainability, ecological balance, protection of flora and fauna, animal welfare, agroforestry, conservation of natural resources and maintaining quality of soil, air and water
  • Promoting preventive health care and sanitation and making available safe drinking water
  • Contribution to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund or any other fund set up by the Central Government for socio-economic 2 development and relief and welfare of the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, minorities and women
  • Supporting and supplementing Government programs and initiatives undertaken in relation thereto

Inani group may undertake any such activities as may be notified from time to time under Companies Act, 2013, as amended from time to time and various other laws, statutes and regulations as and when applicable.
