Causes for the High Divorce Rate
Divorce is very high in the United States these days. People don't take marriage as something important or as a commitment anymore. People get married without really knowing who they are marrying and knowing if they are really ready to get married. It is very easy to get divorced. Some people use marriage as a way to get financial help and then get a divorce, so they can get money from their ex-spouses. Others believe that they are financially stable and don't need to share it with anyone, or don't need anyone. The divorce rate in the United States is high, because of the lost of trust and love among people today.
Marriage is supposed to be a step in life. When someone gets married they are sharing one another's trust, concern, care, love, and support. In today's world you can get married and divorced within twenty-four hours. Marriage just isn't taken seriously anymore. Divorce is a way for some people to get money. I have noticed that most people get married to one another, because of the wealth there partner has. They don't find any attraction or common interests between their partners, just their money. In other situations, many marriages end because they are not financially stable. When you get ready to get married, I believe you should be financially set to take care of you and a family. Divorce is made available to everyone and is very easy to file for. I believe that our society has lost the love and trust for one another. The internet and television make it very tempting to want to cheat on someone. There are many shows on television that influence the act of cheating and divorce. When it comes to divorce no one ever thinks badly upon it, because it is done so often. There are so many influences on divorce. We see divorce happen all around us, so we never think anything about it.
When it comes to relationships and marriage, people want support. These days there are so many young people getting in deep relationships early. I believe people are getting married to young. They haven't matured yet and actually thought about their decisions
