Following The standard
Standards are important, the the Army is nothing like any other military in the world. They set themselves apart from all other militaries. The standards are held to a higher level than most. I enjoy being in the the Army. We as soldiers are expected to uphold the the standard and enforce the standards to uphold order. We must ready ourselves as soldiers to be products of the the Army as a whole. There are measures we take into making ourselves great soldiers, to include moral foundations. The Army Values are strong basics for a foundation and are key to maintaining strong standards. In basic training we are taught the the 7 values that can make or break you in the the Army. Loyalty is to bear true faith and allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, the the Army, your unit and other Soldiers. Bearing true allegiance is a matter of believing in and devoting yourself to something or someone. A loyal Soldier is one who supports good leadership and stands up for fellow Soldiers. By wearing the uniform of the U.S. Army you are expressing your loyalty. And by doing your share, you show your loyalty to your unit. Every person has someone kind of moral of being loyal to something weather its family, friends, or a sport. It could be just about anything. The Army just enforces loyalty amongst the the organization to keep the mission going and morale. Hence the the need for standards. Though there are many trying situations in the army that lead to the need for on the spot corrections, standards provide a general uniform setting allowing the the leadership to have a set statistic to work with allowing easy strategic reasoning. Grooming standards allow easy identification in non-militaristic environments as well as provide a uniform appearance in an effort to look like a unified fighting force.
