Many of today's greatest man did not do well in school or did not finish their school education. It's becoming more, and more obvious that school is beginning to be obsolete in its current state.
While school does teach us the fundamentals like math, reading, and writing and gives us a basic knowledge of the world in the form of history, chemistry, physics, and biology. It forces students to memorize heaps of useless information just to pass tests and raise their score while paying little attention to ones that excel at other subjects like art. That leads to students losing interest in things they are gifted at. The system of today's school's is outdated it does not reward creativity as much as it should. There are not enough possibilities to explore their own interests this leads to loss of interest in learning and creativity. School should be a place where you see what you can do and test your own ability and to give you the strive to educate yourself on the topics you are interested in.
The schedule for classes should be more personalized based on the student's strong points instead of generalized one for everyone, individuality should be prioritized. The devoted time to art, music, dance or drama classes should be this low compared to the other classes there should be a more balance between the subjects students take. There is no room for debate in school everything is as the teacher say's and there is little chance to prove your opinion that leads to losing the ability to think critically and express yourself potentially harming the students future. But still, school introduces you to the academic world of learning and is an irreplaceable part of one's life one way or another, be it studies friends or something else entirely.
