1. A Walk to Remember

Summary: In 1958 Landon Carter is a shallow teenager who spends most of his time hanging out with his friends and getting into trouble. Then Landon gets roped into acting the lead in the Christmas play opposite the most infamous goody two-shoes in town: Jamie Sullivan. Against his best intentions and the taunts of his buddies, Landon finds himself falling for Jamie and learning some central lessons in life.

2. Message in Bottle

Summary: When Theresa Osborne takes a much-needed summer holiday at Cape Cod, she finds a lot more than a break from the daily grind. On an early-morning jog, she comes across a bottle with a message inside that reads, "My Dearest Catherine, I miss you, my darling, as I always do, but today is especially hard because the ocean has been singing to me, and the song is that of our life together..." It bobbles around in the same vein for several more paragraphs and ends with "...am alone on the pier and I do not care what others think as I bow my head and cry and cry and cry. Garret."

3. The Rescue

Summary: Denise Holden's life is a gentle mix of luck and hard work. A single mom of a slightly retarded son, Denise makes ends meet by moving to the small town of Edenton, North Carolina, and working the late shift as a waitress. When Denise crashes her car and her son Kyle flees the accident and disappears into the storm, her only stroke of luck is the quick arrival of Taylor McAden, a volunteer fireman. Taylor's got a knack for fixing people, and he can't help wanting to be involved with Denise beyond the initial rescue of Kyle.
