Knowledge and wisdom may seem alike but they are truly quite different. As a matter of fact they only have two things in common: both require a brain and mind to possess information obtained.
Knowledge is using how to apply information now data-the stuff one can find in places such as books and internet. Knowledge is a consistent process, knowledge is always changing and growing; knowledge is used in communities as well as via languages. Knowledge, like us dies. For example libraries full of data that can not always be retrieved due to hardware. Data that no longer exist and the pioneers of the information are no longer with us. Humans have the data, but not the know how to make it intelligible.
Knowledgeable people spend most of their time planning out exactly when something should happen and just how long it has to take. After individuals have completed the task of planning everything, people tend to spend the rest of their time accomplishing all that is on their list. The only thought on their minds is getting everything done at one time and the rest should be done as time allows.
A knowledgeable person may also dress in fashion that can be accepted by everyone, not to conservative and not too abstract. When a knowledgeable person enters a room, the individual does not try to draw attention. They also know things like times and just what should happen at this time and who should be where at that time. A wise person has it all together in obtaining information and expanding on a consistent basis.
Wise people are happy rather than hostile, no matter how life has treated them. Humans gain wisdom when questions are asked, explore, want to know how things work, and learn valuable lessons from rough experiences. Wisdom is the ability to use the best means at the best time to accomplish the best ends. Wisdom is an awareness to be sensitive to any situation or a person uninfluenced by any corruption of the past. Wisdom relates to developing an eternal perspective on life. I would venture that few today knows wisdoms value. The fear of the Lord is wisdom, showing respect and reverence for God and shunning evil. I reiterate, to me this is the only way to attain true wisdom. Wisdom is total perspective-seeing an object, event or idea in all its pertinent relationships. Perhaps it is more blessed to desire than to possess.
Wise people are aware of the fact that you can only plan so much and the rest should be done when times allows. Individuals come to know that it is not only impossible to plan every moment that one is awake but that this equally an ineffective way to live one’s life.
