Laws of Life
Someone once said, "Tomorrow is promised to no one. Live each day as though it is your last, dream as though your life has barely begun, and make your dreams your reality." This is an example of a law of life. What are laws of life? There are many laws in this world, but not all of them are ethical. I can think of about twenty right now. The first one I'm going to talk about is honesty. Every person relies on honesty to get them through life. Second I'm going to talk about love and, last but not least, responsibility. There are many more of them, but these apply to me the most.
Honesty is the key to trust. Every person needs someone they can trust, even people who are almost never honest. In my opinion, those people need someone they can trust the most, with all their dirty little secrets, but that is just my opinion. As I mentioned earlier, honesty is the key to trust. You might be wondering why that is. That is because when a person is honest to the people around them, they can trust them and open up to them. I personally will try my hardest to be more open with people that I know I can trust, and usually I stay away from those that I cannot trust.
Love is the most wonderful thing in the world. Everyone has someone that they can love. Sometimes love can hurt a lot, and sometimes it only hurts a little, but it is worth everything. The Holy Bible even speaks of love, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, or self speaking, it is not easily angered, and keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always serves. Love never fails." This passage tells us everything we need to know about love.
