Life Accomplishment Essay
The two accomplishments that I have achieved, is graduating from high school and starting a new phase in my life by starting college. This two are my proudest achievements because through them I have matured from a girl into a young lady. I also learned priceless lessons and values that have helped make me the person that I am today.
Graduating high school is my first achievement, the day I graduated high school was one of the happiest and saddest day of my life. It was the happiest day of my life because this meant that I was no longer a child but an adult, I had endured the four years and I came out on top, I was ready to face the world on my own and the many adventures it possessed. It was the saddest day of my life because I said goodbye to my friends because we were all going in different directions and starting new phases in our lives, I said goodbye to the familiarity of high school and the comfort it offered I now had to prepare myself to experience the unknown world of college, I said goodbye to my teachers of four years and all the other educators that had impacted my life.
Starting college is my second achievement; I was happy and very scared at the same time. Happy to be make the transition from high school to the new and exciting world of college and adulthood, this transition meant that I would now be taken seriously because I was no longer a child, I could now do thing I couldn't do before ( enter into clubs, drink coffee, no more curfew, etc). Scared of what was to come, no knowing if I would be able to adapt to college life and if I would able to handle all the new added responsibility. Starting college meant that I was solely responsible for my success and or failure, college work would be more than that of high school and would be strenuous.
