1.0 INTRODUCTION

1.1 INTRODUCTION

Nowadays, almost in all fields of service sector had been taking care by the robots due to the robot application. Therefore, the robots are expected to work with human being by sharing various service tasks. However, this project will focus more on the kitchen sector which is the team are going to design the automatic integrated cooker bot consisting of cooking and ingredient dispenser system combined together. We haven’t seen a product such this idea which can cook gravy dish like curry sold in the market yet. Thus, this project will be focus on making this product available and get huge demand in the long run. This project output will be based on our main objectives which is to ease the restaurant’s crew scope of work. Besides, they can focus more on the customer’s service and satisfaction. In addition, the team will improvise the other previous semester’s prototypes. Before this, the two main systems of the cooker bot were separated, so it is not a complete version of product.

1.2 PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Cooker bot is an automatic and consistent cooking system and ingredient dispenser which already available in worldwide market. However, there are no specific cooker bot on making Malaysia’s favorited gravy dishes like curry. This project will be focusing on designing the first cooker bot that will be in the market to make it happen. The cooking device consists of two main units which are a dispenser unit and cooking unit. Firstly, ingredients for the curry dish will be distributed automatically by the dispenser into the cooking pan according to the required amount once the system is switched on. The cooking unit will heat and cook the ingredients such as spices, oil, coconut milk and more based on pre-set cooking time. The product also equipped with a stirring mechanism to ensure that the ingredients are homogeneously mixed, heated and well-cooked. After the cooking completed, the dish needs to be served away from the cooking unit.
