This paper is on terminology of organizational behavior key words. Most of what I know I have received from places I have worked and what I have picked up on as a supervisor or working as an instructor.

Organizational behavior to me is how a company or an organization behaves amongst its peers and co-workers. In this concept there is perception of how companies or organizations should conduct themselves, and should be done in an appropriate manner. Now of course we live in the real world and there will always be conflict in an organization or company, but these matters should be kept internal and solved at the lowest level. As an instructor for a technical school I see these things on a daily basis. The internal struggles of co-workers and everything else that goes on. I do have to say though; even with these things going on the school still runs and has the outward projection like nothing is wrong at all.

Within companies you also have organizational cultures to tend with. People are very diverse in their cultures and everyone must be very respectable to each individuals cultural backgrounds. Companies, in order to survive or succeed must learn to organize and maximize these cultures.

Next is diversity. Diversity plays a crucial role and goes along with cultural backgrounds. Everyone is diverse in there own way. Whether it is in their culture or their heritage. As a company everyone needs to understand this and even in teaching this plays a crucial role in how students learn and their ability to understand and retain information. As co-workers we have to be sensitive to this also so that we do not infringe upon anyone in a negative way.

Communication is the key ingredient to the success of any company. Administrators must communicate important information to their employees so that what they want to accomplish is made know. Immediate supervisors must stay in constant communication at all times so that the employees under them know what is expect and are made aware of all changes and on goings in the company. When the lines of communication are shutdown or closed, important information is not passed on and things so not get done in the proper manner. Co-workers must communicate to each other also. In my job this is crucial for instructors to communicate daily so that the 2 instructors who may have the same class teach two separate courses can get an understand
