Answer: Academic writing is a clear focus on the research under investigation, the grammar and vocabulary are accurate. It used different forms in academic writing such as explanation and examples it depends on your resources and it has consistent information. It must be facts were people convinced. The narrative flows in a clear, accurate, and well-organized way.
2.What is the importance of academic writing?
Answer: The importance of academic writing is to communicate to the other people, which is everyone is allowed to read it and to gather information about it. It is also frame work of our communication. As a student maybe some of us can’t express their feelings in a speech way but commonly we are expressing our knowledge through writing.
3. How is academic writing different from a letter? How about a court order?
Answer: The academic writing must be in precise and clear in vocabulary and grammar especially it is structured. It also addresses people while letter is addresses someone, it is also unstructured ideas. Some information of a letter are not supported which is it can go to the another topic while academic writing is focused on one point. Then the court order are basically a precise list of instructions you are required to follow. It does not discuss the pros and cons of its content.
4. Why is academic writing equated to thinking?
Answer: Academic writing equated to thinking because thinking is essentially an information processing activity which provides context to content such as academic writing is one of the example of the result of thinking. Thinking is an idea while the academic writing is a product of thinking.
5. If you use the first person point of view in a writing academic paper, is it still considered academic?
Answer: It is yes because there is an appropriate use for the first person in an academic writing including the personal anecdote, establishing your creditability and clarifying passive construction.
