Mastering a Skill
We live in a society where we constantly find ourselves frantically racing against the world to catch up to it. We as human beings have so many simple skills that we execute everyday and most of these seem like they are second nature to us; since they are part of a daily routine, we often overlook these skills and take it simply as part of life.
There are, however, certain skills that only a limited of number of people have вЂ" one of these skills is one that most people do not have, but that absolutely everyone can benefit one, is simple and effective time management. We live in a society where we often find ourselves frantically racing with against the world trying to catch up to it. We try to do everything at the same time even if it’s impossible.
Consequences of Bad Time Management
We are often overwhelmed with our daily duties that we tend to overlook many tasks, and slowly sink ourselves into a sea of obligations that never seem to come to an end. Most people already feel like there is too much to do, yet enough time to get things done; no matter how we look at it, there are only 24 hours in each day.
Un-effective time management leads to stress; when we are feeling overwhelmed, we tend to work poorly, which eventually leads to more stress вЂ" this eventually will turn into an endless vicious cycle. Anxiety often makes us get bad judgment on prioritizing our daily tasks. We tend to do only tasks we feel are being pressured to, and forget about other tasks that might need more attention. Or maybe as a way to escape our duties, we brainwash ourselves to convince each other that other less vital tasks should be done before some obvious critical ones because we feel so stressed we feel it’s already a lost case.
Benefits of Effective Time Management
Effective time management can drastically improve the quality of your life. It reduces stress and frustrations. Much anxiety comes from not being sure of where you are going and what you are doing вЂ" you feel as you are going nowhere. When you have overcome frustrations, it is easier to take full power of creativity and productivity. This gives us a sense of achievement of piece of mind, something that many people only can dream about.
When we finally accomplish some of duties, we open ourselves to more satisfaction because the subconscious guilt of undone things has very much faded. When we manage our time effectively we overcome procrastination and we learn to prioritize вЂ" this is one
