Time Management
If there was ever skill in the world that people should take the opportunity to master it should be time management. Time seems to be the essence of all that we do so therefore when mismanaged we lose control over everything else. Something that is so easy to lose track of and often taken for granted, turns out to be the most important thing that we possess. People should come to a realization how important time really is and manage it with the utmost care.
From all that I have noticed in the daily life of myself and others, time seems to be something that most of us do not control and have not mastered. When you put it in the aspect of how often we are late, miss appointments, and monopolize someone else’s time, we are far from the mastery of this skill. The trickle down effects of the mismanagement of time can shift priorities, make us develop bad habits, and not make proper use of the time in which we are given. To me it’s just as crucial as knowing where my paycheck is coming from, having gas in my car, or what roads I’m going to take as I travel. It’s the glue that holds everything together and something that, whether people admit it or not, is most important because it cannot be returned or given back.
It isn’t often in life that something can be a benefit to all that chose to embrace it, but managing your life in the essence of time will have no downfall. I have been sitting here trying to find a flaw within time management or how it can have a negative impact in someone’s life. So far, nothing has come to mind except those who become over analytical and don’t give “life” a chance to happen. I’ve heard many times in my life that “you control your controllable, and embrace the uncontrollable.” If time is used improperly
