Background
More businesses today are integrating social responsibility in their strategic business plans even before a product or service is rolled out to the public. Social responsibility plays a pivotal part in determining a business's profitability and more importantly its sustainability over the long run.
While a majority of professionals are aware of CSR issues, youth in general are often unaware and in most cases rarely catered to by civic societies until they enter the workforce. [stat] of the colleges and universities offer electives which touch on social responsibility but do little to enhance understanding beyond the classroom setting.
With isolated discussions of CSR in a students' academic life, this noticeable void is becoming increasingly larger, costlier, and time consuming whereas no collective effort is being made to educate and mentor the youth (ages 14-24) before they enter the workforce.
Youth Leadership Initiative
A crucial theme to CSR sustainability is the need to reinvigorate the cycle of innovation and sustenance through future generations. With [stat] of the youth population under the age of 19, it is imperative to engage this segment of the population in order to pursue sustainable development for future generations.

The Business Case: Starting Early
To create and foster a leadership group which will enable youth of Pakistan to generate awareness and proactively provide solutions to issues surrounding CSR in their local communities. No such forum either as individuals or collectively in groups, exists which can guide and cater to the needs of this segment of society. Future generations require education and training at an early age to allow for their successful transition into society as leaders in their profession and responsible citizens of their community.
To mount a vigorous and sustainable education campaign through active awareness-building programs in schools and universities.
Methodology: What Participants Receive
Training and Education
YLI will conduct training and education seminars with youth on a routine basis to cover assessment tools and analysis students can accomplish at 3 levels. These levels are listed below:
Basic: Individual Level: at Retreat

Look at ways to counter

Monitor/Evaluate
Intermediate: Family/ House: need Family observation
Advanced: Community: need mediation w/ mentor

With the three levels to be completed at various stages of the projectÐ'... how can the integrity be maintained:
1) Retain the essential points of the original concept and aims of the program.
2) Take into account the various indirect factors which can influence each level and respect the differences.
a. Such as factors outside of ones control (community, society, cultural, governmental)
3) Nurture theme of togetherness and for the greater good of the collective CSR goal.
